In this class students will build confidence in their English writing abilities by working on a longform essay over the course of the semester. They will be required to plan out their essay carefully and meet submission deadlines. In the "Writing Hints/Discussion" classes, they will receive general advice on writing from the teacher, perform activities to improve their writing, and discuss their essays with classmates. In "Writing Workshop" classes, they will have time to work on their essays in class, and meet individually with the teacher to discuss their progress.
