THIS COURSE WILL BE COMPLETELY ONLINE.

Let's improve your English vocabulary and fluency through different games, simulations, roelplays and language activities. You will cooperate with your classmates to practise English in informal team settings.  This course was designed specifically for Zoom learning based on requests from students.

The URL for the first week's class will be mailed to registered students in the week before we start.  

 

 

You will expand your English vocabulary.

You will apply your English vocabulary in a wide variety of language situations. 

You will improve your discussion skills through groupwork and negotiation.

This first class will be run on Zoom, and we will see each other for the first time. Our main objectives are:

1. To get to know each other and check out some cool people you might want to make game teams with.

2.Practise the technology! We have to get used to working with this new way of doing learning and groupwork.  We will confirm the various online and analog ways that you will be expected to work in this class. (See also the note at the bottom of this syllabus.)

The content of this first week's lesson will be given to you as an assignment, which you must complete and upload before the next class.

Hi!  I'm glad that you're considering taking this class.  It was designed base on suggestions and requests from student in first semester.  The goal is to practise and improve English in a fun way, that enables everyone to be active. 

This course will be taught via Zoom.  For groupwork you will also be able to use Line, Skype, Facebook or any other platform that you are comfortable with.  (Your choice.)  Video assignments will be uploaded to Flipgrid.
